M120 Leitstand (fire control center)

The m120 type fire control-post was only three times constructed in Holland. Two of out of three we have at this page (See also battery Langerak). This is a special version of the fire control post, because the range finder was placed under a concrete hood. You can see the concrete hood clearly on the drawing and the picture.

Also visible are two steel observation turrets.

On the pictures below this text the bunker is photographed from the left and right back. In 1999 The bunker was taken out of the sand and now it is sometimes open for the public.

Clearly visible: The concrete hood and observation turrets.

The ground plan you can see is the ground plan of the m120 at Langerak. It is probably the same.

671 Schartenstand (Embrasured emplacement)

The 671 SK used here looks very much like the normal 671.

The two bunkers of this kind, which can still be found, are in a good condition. If you look at the picture below you can see that just some small pieces of concrete are missing.

It is a small bunker of a kind that can be found at more places and is not very interesting.
